How To Save Money On Meat

Now more than you’re concerned about how your food is raised and want to make a change!

You start seeking out regenerative farms like ours to find the best for your family but quickly become overwhelmed and feel the added tug on your wallet that comes with food raised in this healthy manner.

We care about the health of your family

Eating healthy shouldn’t put a strain on your wallet and with a little planning you CAN feed your family foods you’re proud to serve without blowing your budget!

My Money Saving Tips for buying high quality meat.

  1. Buy direct from your favorite farmer to avoid upcharges found by shopping at local stores and other outlet markets where your favorite farm products are sold.

  2. By whole chickens and either roast them giving you multiple meals or learn to breakdown a whole chicken yourself - You don't need any special skills or a lot of muscle to cut up a chicken at home. Here see for yourself, I even created a video to show you how it’s done.

  3. Go with ground meat over sausages and season it yourself – next time try using ground pork and season it to create your own breakfast sausage.

  4. Look for ways to buy in bulk. Here at FreshORR Family Farms we offer discounts on bulk purchases of chicken as well as offer our Month of Meat Club, a monthly meat subscription. But by far our most popular is buying a half or whole hog.

  5. Sign up for your favorite farmers emails to find out about upcoming specials.

  6. Eat less meat! Seriously! It’s the quality of the meat that matters NOT the quantity of it.

  7. Here at FreshORR Family Farms we have our Misfit Meat Freezer - when we have packaged products smaller than what we typically sell or in odd quantiles (2 thighs as opposed to 4 in a pack), or if the vacuum seal on the pack is starting to become weak, we offer it at 50% off retail. There is nothing wrong with the quality of meat, it’s just not up to our standard to sell at full price.

We know feeding your family a healthy meal is important and we want to help.

Now is the time to put these tips into practice and see the immediate savings!

Thank you for choosing our family farm to help feed your family!

Be Blessed My Friend,

Gina
